Reports in Nexus are run against your live Fishbowl data, so they always show the latest numbers.
The Reports module is where users will run reports on their Fishbowl data. Fishbowl includes more than 150 standard reports covering sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing and more.
The Reports module can be found under the “Analytics” section on the home page or in the sidebar.
When users open the module, they will see a list of available reports. Users can search for a report by name.
Running a Report #
To run a report, users will select it from the list.
Next, fill in the report’s filters, such as a date range, location, customer or part.
Once the filters are set, run the report to see the results.
Using the Assistant #
For anything a standard report doesn’t cover, users can ask the assistant to build a custom report. The assistant can look across every table in Fishbowl, so no SQL or report request is needed. For example:
- “Show me total sales by month this year”
- “Which vendors slipped on lead time this year?”
- “Show me slow movers with no sales in 90 days.”
The assistant only shows data the user already has access to in Fishbowl.
