How to Log Back In After Changing the Fishbowl Admin Password #

If you plan on switching your Fishbowl admin password, make sure to change your password in Vortex to your new Fishbowl admin password BEFORE changing it in Fishbowl. If you change your Fishbowl admin password first, you will not be able to log back into Vortex.

If you have already changed your Fishbowl admin password, here are some ways to log back into Vortex:

  • Change your Fishbowl back to the old admin login, then go to Vortex and update the login to the new admin password. Finally, switch your Fishbowl to the new admin login once again.
  • If you no longer have your old Fishbowl login, contact our support with your new admin password and we may be able to log you in.

Syncing Fields to Vortex #

The Site Cache is where you update all the information you have changed in Fishbowl into Vortex. From this setting you can update Customers, Custom Fields, Products, Sales Orders, and System Users.

It is much faster to sync the specific field you want to update than to use “Clear All” at the bottom of the page.

Note: Product images must be manually selected to sync. Selecting “Clear All” at the bottom will not sync product images.
