Entering Custom Field Information for a Product #
To enter custom field information for a product, go to the Materials module in Fishbowl and select “Product.” Click the product you want and go to the “Custom” section. Enter the link into one of the custom fields you have created for the Product module.
In Vortex, go to the Products settings and select the custom field you just entered the information into. Enter the Link Text that will show up on the product information screen.
Note: Go to the Site Cache to sync custom fields into Vortex after creating them in Fishbowl.
Adding Images to Products #
Go to the Materials module in Fishbowl and then to Products. Select the product you want to add an image for, then choose the image file and place it in the “Drop Files Here” section. The image should then display in that area.
Make sure the box for the custom field “Sync Image” is checked so the image is available to sync into Vortex. This is found in the Custom section on the product page.
Creating a Pricing Rule #
To create a Pricing Rule from within Fishbowl, go to the Sales module and select the Pricing Rule section. Select “New” at the top left and begin filling out the information. You can choose which customer and product(s) the pricing rule affects and what price adjustments to make.
